I Really Don’t How How to Say This… is a clever concept from playwright Charles Jackson Jr. of Poetic Thespian Productions.

In Due Time had the edginess that I would like to see from all fringe festival performances.

Freeman (New York), Scott Garland (Toronto), Talaura Harms (New York), Charles Jackson (Texas)…

Jackson (who gives a very strong performance) and Coats (an appealing actor) filmed very long takes without scripted dialogue but while knowing where the general story is going.

This was a sweet and interesting show that took the couple from deception and heartbreak to a beautiful friendship and healing. The Q and A after the show revealed that the performance was also very unique—the dialogue was completely improvised!

Charles Jackson Jr., who both wrote and directed this piece, charms in his one-man love letter to women in his life, past and present.

The Center for Performing Arts Bonita Springs will present the world premiere of Charles Jackson, Jr.'s THE FLOATING BLACK MAN in conjunction with their popular Staged Reading Series on August 9, 2019, at 7:30pm. Mr. Jackson will give a full performance of his new play as part of the evening that will highlight Naples, Florida, playwright Marc Simon's play DEPARTURES in the staged reading format.
